GENERAL RULES

Only ONE method of payment will be accepted.

Only ONE mailing address will be recorded.

Foothills Hospital Home Lottery tickets, 50/50 Add-On tickets and 100 Days of Winning™ Cash Calendar™ Add-On tickets will be mailed separately.

Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket and the name of a person under 18 years of age may not be written on the ticket.

Only tickets that have been paid for, and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw(s). All inquiries regarding the chances of winning and method of awarding prizes can be made to the licensee at 1-403-691-8097.

The following, including their spouse and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Calgary Health Trust employees, Board members and Development Council members, the raffle manager and their employees, and the partners and employees of the professional services firm of KPMG LLP.

Tickets may only be sold and purchased within Alberta. Restrictions apply. If your ticket contains an error, please call 1-403-691-8097.

All ticket purchases are final and refunds are not available. 5,025 prizes will be awarded. All prizes awarded are new product. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

♦ Each Foothills Hospital Home Lottery ticket in a 3-pack, 5-pack or 8-pack, each 50/50 Add-On ticket in a 5-pack or 15-pack, and each 100 Days of Winning™ Cash Calendar™ Add-On ticket in a 3-pack or 6-pack must contain the same name and contact information. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.

Retail values are approximate as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded. Prize values include taxes and freight, where applicable.

All draws are open to the public. All winners of prizes will be notified in writing by the accounting firm of KPMG LLP as to what they have won and where and how to claim their prize(s). All prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash equivalencies available unless otherwise stated. All prize draws are performed manually, as required by the licensing body (AGLC).

Each prize draw will select one (1) winner and that winning token is selected from the draw drum at random.

In the instance where multiple tokens are inadvertently selected from the draw drum, and this is identified prior to the reading of the token number, KPMG LLP will halt the draw immediately, tokens will be returned to the drum, and the draw procedure will be performed to determine one (1) winner.

In the event that multiple tokens are inadvertently pulled from the draw drum, and this is not identified prior to identifying and reading of the token number, the token number read aloud, confirmed and recorded is deemed to be the first token pulled and therefore established as the valid winner. A draw will only be deemed valid and complete upon final confirmation and recording by KPMG LLP.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

All draws will be made as stated. An extension of draw dates or cancellation of raffle will only be requested from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission in the unlikely event of a natural disaster or catastrophic event.

A list of winners will be published online at FoothillsHospitalHomeLottery.com on on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 or Thursday, May 31, 2018.

DEADLINES & DRAW DATES

The VIP ticket sales deadline is midnight, February 16, 2018.
The VIP draw date is February 28, 2018.
The Bonus ticket sales deadline is midnight, March 16, 2018.
The Bonus draw date is March 28, 2018.
The Early Bird ticket sales deadline is midnight, April 13, 2018.
The Early Bird draw date is May 2, 2018.
The Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, May 4, 2018.
The Final draw date is May 24, 2018.

TICKETS SOLD BY THE VIP DEADLINE

All tickets purchased by the VIP Deadline Friday, February 16, 2018 (midnight), will be eligible for the draw on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. The draws will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the offices of KPMG LLP, located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary.

VIP PRIZE

Two (2) prizes of Maldives Getaways for 2 people for 7 nights, plus $2,000 Cash, or take $20,000 Cash.

TICKETS SOLD BY THE BONUS DEADLINE

All tickets purchased by the Bonus Deadline Friday, March 16, 2018 (midnight), will be eligible for the draw on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. The draw will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the offices of KPMG LLP, located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary.

BONUS PRIZE

One (1) prize of Hawaii and Private Jet. 6 people to Hawaii on a private jet, 7 nights at the Four Seasons Resort in Oahu or $100,000 cash.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD BY THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird deadline of Midnight, April 13, 2018, then all draws (with the exception of the top five valued prizes) would be held April 24-30, 2018, with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission approval. Draws will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of KPMG located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, which would be followed by 5,016 preliminary draws, drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top five valued prize draws would be made on May 2, 2018, on The Morning News on Global Calgary between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. live from the Grand Prize Showhome, located at 262 Marine Drive SE, Calgary.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD PRIOR TO THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

IF ALL TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD PRIOR TO THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE: In the event that tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, then only the Early Bird draw would be made on the Global News at Noon between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on May 2, 2018, "live" from the Global Television studios located at 222, 23rd Street NE, Calgary. Ticket sales would continue until the Final sales deadline of Midnight, May 4, 2018. All draws (with the exception of the top five valued prizes) would be held May 15-22, 2018, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of KPMG located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary. The 5,016 preliminary draws would proceed and be drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top five valued prize draws would be made on May 24, 2018, on the Global News Morning Edition between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. "live" from the Grand Prize Showhome located at 262 Marine Drive SE, Calgary.

TITLE TRANSFER

If all tickets are sold by April 13, 2018, possession date and title transfer for the 262 Marine Drive SE Magohany Grand Prize Showhome will be May 18, 2018. If all tickets are not sold by April 13, 2018, possession date and title transfer of the Grand Prize Mahogany Showhome will be June 8, 2018. The possession date and title transfer of the Canmore Early Bird Showhome is Friday May 18, 2018.

Approximate total retail value of prizes is $5.176,000 (including GST). Approximate total retail value of Grand Prize real estate located at 262 Marine Drive SE, Calgary, is $2.4 Million (including GST). Early Bird Prize real estate located at 39 Creekside Mews, Spring Creek, Canmore, value is $1,550,000 (including GST).

50/50 ADD-ON® RULES

Only 484,318 50/50 Add-On tickets are available.

Prize: There will be a guaranteed $389,151 minimum payout for the 50/50 Add-On Prize draw, or 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater).

Only tickets purchased by the 50/50 Add-On ticket sales deadline of midnight, May 4, 2018, are eligible for the 50/50 Add-On draw. The 50/50 Add-On draw date is May 15, 2018.

100 DAYS OF WINNING™ CASH CALENDAR™ ADD-ON RULES

Only 104,520 100 Days of Winning™ Cash Calendar™ Add-On tickets are available.

Prizes: $3,000 a day for 100 days, plus $50,000 on May 24, 2018. One winner every day from May 24, 2018 until August 31, 2018.

The 100 Days of Winning™ Cash Calendar™ Add-On ticket sales deadline is midnight, May 4, 2018. The 100 Days of Winning™ Cash Calendar™ Add-On draws are May 16, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of KPMG LLP. After each draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket number goes back for the next draw.

All draws will be completed in sequence on May 16, 2018. Draws will proceed in order of the 2018 calendar. One (1) draw for $3,000 every day starting on May 24, 2018 for 100 days. There will be two (2) draws on May 16, 2018 beginning with the draw for $3,000 followed by the draw for $50,000. Winners will be announced daily on this website, FoothillsHospitalHomeLottery.com, beginning May 16, 2018.

After each prize draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket number goes back for the next draw.

DRAW ORDER

The first draw will be for the VIP Prize, the second draw will be for the Bonus Prize, and the third draw will be for the Early Bird Prize. Thereafter, draws are made in order of ascending retail value.

After each draw, including the VIP, Bonus and Early Bird draws, the winner is recorded and the ticket number goes back for the next draw. Each ticket purchased before the VIP deadline will be eligible for all 5,025. Tickets purchased after the VIP deadline but before the Bonus deadline will be eligible for 5,023. Tickets purchased after the Bonus deadline but before the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for 5,022. Tickets purchased after the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for the remaining 5,021 draws.

Official tickets and prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticket holder only and mailed to the address provided by the ticket purchaser.

In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties.

In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The Hospital Home Lottery and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.

All inquiries as to the chances of winning and method of awarding prizes can be made to the Licensee prior to purchase.

All prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Where applicable, airfare for vacation prizes is from the Calgary International Airport.

Where applicable, travel prizes are restricted to the scheduled departure time for airplanes and cruise ships.

PRIZE VEHICLES

Winners of vehicle or recreation vehicle prizes must choose one of two vehicles offered per draw (if a choice is given) or take the cash alternative.

UNCLAIMED PRIZES

The prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. In the event that a winner has not claimed their prize after a 12-month period from the final draw date, and after several attempts have been made to contact that winner, then (with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission approval) that prize will be returned to the lottery management committee for charitable use by the Calgary Health Trust.

Arrangements may be made with the prize supplier to have a prize delivered to the winner at the prize winner’s expense. Our thanks to the professional services firm KPMG LLP for ticket distribution and draw control.
