Only 138,000 tickets will be printed (47,015 single tickets for $100 each, 12,815 3-packs of tickets for $250, 1,860 5-packs of tickets for $375, and 5,405 8-packs of tickets for $500).

GENERAL RULES

Only ONE method of payment will be accepted.

Only ONE mailing address will be recorded.

Foothills Hospital Home Lottery tickets, Take 50 Add-On tickets and 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets will be mailed separately.

Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket and the name of a person under 18 years of age may not be written on the ticket due to requirements of the Public Trustee Act.

Only tickets that have been paid for, and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw(s). All inquiries regarding the chances of winning and method of awarding prizes can be made to the licensee at 1-403-691-8097.

The following, including their spouse and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Calgary Health Trust employees, Board members and Development Council members, the raffle manager and their employees, and the partners and employees of the professional services firm of KPMG LLP.

All ticket purchases are final and refunds are not available. 4,686 prizes will be awarded. All prizes awarded are new product. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

♦ Each Foothills Hospital Home Lottery ticket in a 3-pack, 5-pack or 8-pack, each Take 50 Add-On ticket in a 5-pack or 15-pack, and each 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On ticket in a 3-pack or 6-pack must contain the same name and contact information. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.

Retail values are approximate as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded. Prize values include taxes and freight, where applicable.

All draws are open to the public. All winners of prizes will be notified in writing by the accounting firm of KPMG LLP as to what they have won and where and how to claim their prize(s). All prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash equivalencies available unless otherwise stated. All prize draws are performed manually, as required by the licensing body (AGLC).

Each prize draw will select one (1) winner and that winning token is selected from the draw drum at random.

In the instance where multiple tokens are inadvertently selected from the draw drum, and this is identified prior to the reading of the token number, KPMG LLP will halt the draw immediately, tokens will be returned to the drum, and the draw procedure will be performed to determine one (1) winner.

In the event that multiple tokens are inadvertently pulled from the draw drum, and this is not identified prior to identifying and reading of the token number, the token number read aloud, confirmed and recorded is deemed to be the first token pulled and therefore established as the valid winner. A draw will only be deemed valid and complete upon final confirmation and recording by KPMG LLP.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).

All draws will be made as stated. An extension of draw dates or cancellation of raffle will only be requested from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission in the unlikely event of a natural disaster or catastrophic event.

A list of winners will be published online at FoothillsHospitalHomeLottery.com on May 11 or June 1, 2017.

DRAW DATES

The VIP ticket sales deadline is midnight, February 17, 2017.
The VIP draw date is March 2, 2017.

The Bonus ticket sales deadline is midnight, March 17, 2017.
The Bonus draw date is March 29, 2017.

The Early Bird ticket sales deadline is midnight, April 13, 2017.
The Early Bird draw date is May 4, 2017.

The Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, May 5, 2017.

TICKETS SOLD BY THE BONUS DEADLINE

All tickets sold by midnight, March 17, 2017, will be eligible for the Bonus draw on March 29, 2017. The draw will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the offices of KPMG LLP, located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary.

BONUS PRIZE

One (1) prize of a trip for 6 to Las Vegas in a private jet PLUS $15,000 Cash OR $50,000 Cash.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD BY THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird deadline of midnight, April 13, 2017, then all draws (with the exception of the top five valued prizes) will be held April 25–May 3, 2017, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the offices of KPMG LLP, located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary. The first draw will be for the Early Bird Prize, which will be followed by 4,674 preliminary draws, drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top five valued prize draws will be made on May 4, 2017, on The Morning News on Global Calgary between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., live from the Grand Prize Showhome, located at 59 Cranbrook Lane SE, Calgary.

IF ALL TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD PRIOR TO THE EARLY BIRD SALES DEADLINE

In the event that tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, then only the Early Bird draw will be made on The Morning News on Global Calgary between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on May 4, 2017, live from the Global Television studios, at 222, 23rd Street NE, Calgary. Ticket sales will continue until the Final sales deadline of midnight, May 5, 2017.

All draws (with the exception of the top five valued prizes) will be held May 16–23, 2017, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the offices of KPMG LLP, located at 3100, 205 – 5th Avenue SW, Calgary. The 4,674 preliminary draws will proceed, and be drawn in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top five valued prize draws will be made on May 24, 2017, on The Morning News on Global Calgary between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., live from the Grand Prize Showhome, located at 59 Cranbrook Lane SE, Calgary

TITLE TRANSFER

If all tickets are sold by April 13, 2017, possession date and title transfer for the 59 Cranbrook Lane SE Grand Prize Showhome and the 109 Spring Creek Lane Canmore Early Bird Showhome will be May 19, 2017. If all tickets are not sold by April 13, 2017, possession date and title transfer of the Grand Prize Showhome will be June 9, 2017.

Approximate total retail value of prizes is $5,394,496.04 (including GST). Approximate total retail value of Grand Prize real estate located at 59 Cranbrook Lane SE, Calgary, is $2.4 Million (including GST). Early Bird Prize real estate located at 109 Spring Creek Lane, Canmore, value is $1,740,000 (including GST).

TAKE 50 ADD-ON® RULES

Only 454,650 Take 50 Add-On tickets are available (14,650 single Take 50 Add-On tickets for $10 each, 25,675 packages of five Take 50 Add-On tickets for $25, and 20,775 packages of fifteen Take 50 Add-On tickets for $50).

Prize: There will be a guaranteed $365,425 minimum payout for the Take 50 Add-On Prize draw, or 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater).

Only tickets purchased by the Take 50 Add-On ticket sales deadline of midnight, May 5, 2017, are eligible for the Take 50 Add-On draw. The Take 50 Add-On draw date is May 17, 2017.

100 DAYS OF WINNING CASH CALENDAR™ ADD-ON RULES

20,938 single 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $25 each, 9,664 packages of three 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $50 and 9,664 packages of six 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On tickets for $75 are available for a total of 107,914 tickets.

Prizes: 1 cash prize of $50,000 on May 24th, and 99 daily cash prizes of $3,000 from May 25 until August 31, 2017. Total prize value of $347,000.

The 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On ticket sales deadline is midnight, May 5, 2017. The 100 Days of Winning Cash Calendar Add-On draws are May 16, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. at the offices of KPMG LLP. After each draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket number goes back for the next draw.

A new winner will be posted online every day beginning May 24, 2017, at FoothillsHospitalHomeLottery.com.

ULTIMATE SPORTS FAN PACKAGE PRIZE

The winner of the Ultimate Sports Fan package will win Season tickets for Two people to the Calgary Flames 2017/18 regular season, Calgary Roughnecks 2018 regular season, Calgary Stampeders 2017 regular season and Calgary Hitmen 2017/18 regular season. In the event that the winner has not claimed the prize before the beginning of the applicable season, the winner will be provided with a cash alternative equal to the value of the tickets as follows:

Calgary Flames $6,414.72 Season begins October 1, 2017
Calgary Roughnecks $635.32; Season begins January 1, 2018
Calgary Stampeders $1,408.48 Season begins June 1, 2017
Calgary Hitmen 1,408.90 Season begins September 1, 2017

DRAW ORDER

The first five draws will be for the VIP Prizes, the sixth draw will be for the Bonus Prize, and the seventh draw will be for the Early Bird Prize. Thereafter, draws are made in order of ascending retail value.

After each draw, including the VIP, Bonus and Early Bird draws, the winner is recorded and the ticket number goes back for the next draw. Each ticket purchased before the VIP deadline will be eligible for all 4,686 draws. Tickets purchased after the VIP deadline but before the Bonus deadline will be eligible for 4,681 draws. Tickets purchased after the Bonus deadline but before the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for 4,680 draws. Tickets purchased after the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for the remaining 4,679 draws.

Official tickets and prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticket holder only and mailed to the address provided by the ticket purchaser.

In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties.

In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The Foothills Hospital Home Lottery and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.

All inquiries as to the chances of winning and method of awarding prizes can be made to the Licensee prior to purchase.

All prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Where applicable, airfare for vacation prizes is from the Calgary International Airport.

Where applicable, travel prizes are restricted to the scheduled departure time for airplanes and cruise ships.

PRIZE VEHICLES

Winners of vehicle or recreation vehicle prizes must choose one of two vehicles offered per draw (if a choice is given) or take the cash alternative.

UNCLAIMED PRIZES

The prize winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. In the event that a winner has not claimed their prize after a 12-month period from the final draw date, and after several attempts have been made to contact that winner, then (with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission approval) that prize will be returned to the lottery management committee for charitable use by the Calgary Health Trust.

Arrangements may be made with the prize supplier to have a prize delivered to the winner at the prize winner’s expense.
